BIO
Shereen first studied the art of oriental dancing in 2000 in Prague. At the beginning she was predominantly selftought in this dance form. At the end of 2001 she started teaching and performing in Prague, which is where she met other Czech dancers and Jade Henriksen. Jade is an american bellydancer and holder of the title Bellydancer of the Universe. She inspired and influenced Shereen her to broaden her horizon by performing across Europe. ??After graduating highschool (in artistic sculpture at a secondary school of applied arts),Shereen moved to Prague. She began teaching, holding workshops and performing in arabic establishments and corporate events. In 2004 Shereen moved to London where she achieved the position of one of London's top bellydancers, invited to many prestigious events, performing for members of Middle Eastern royal famillies, government members and many celebrities. She worked mainly with live music which enhanced her performance as she was then able to express the movement of the oriental dance to its full potential. In 2005 Shereen set out on a trip to Nepal, India, United Arabic Emirates where she danced at numerous corporate events. The next half year Shereen stayed and teached mainly in Prague from where she moved back to London. She spent there several months working and performing till the end of the year 2006. Nowadays she is travelling around the World (France, Gambia, Slovenia, Romania, Finland, Turkey, Egypt, Italy, Germany and many others) sharing her love for dance, experience and knowledge with hundreds of students worldwide. She is a popular insructor invited to international festivals, performing and studying with many great musicians and dancers. Shereen greatly admires the Egyptian dance style od the 1940s, 50s and 60s due to its classic interpetation which she undertakes in perform.Special thanks to my teachers:
